Dude you can’t even count past 11.7 or comprehend how Vanderbilt has more baseball scholarships. Let’s not go down the intelligence route.

And yea, figures, typical privileged Nashville kid who couldn’t get into Vandy, but had parents that could fund an out of state tuition to binge drink and play with toilet paper at Auburn. Surprised you didn’t go to Ole Miss instead.

Shocker, context isn’t your friend.

No way you went to Vanderbilt either.

Still trying to find a Vandy fan that could actually get accepted into the school.

I could have easily been accepted, they just did not offer my major. Other family attended tho as did an old GF.

Endowments come from boosters and fundraising. It’s not my fault Tennessee hasn’t made an effort to boost their endowment numbers.

I don’t want a foul ball to catch the whistler right in his temple because I’d never wish that upon anyone.

That is the only reason, however.

Shhhh don't tell our "friend" that I went to Auburn on a sweet arse academic scholly and could have been accepted to Vandy since my best friend with the same credentials was, too. However, my parents were NOT going to be footing a big college bill even though Vandy's Opportunity Vanderbilt said they had the financial means to handle about 2/3 of the then ~$57K cost of attendance. So, no, I wasn't on some parent-funded bender, since they were only covering room and board wherever I went.

He is right that I did go to Auburn.

Careful now. He didn’t say that. He asked about your use of “our” and said that you weren’t connected to the university. Being a fan (apparent from your username) is a connection, but what would I know about reading comprehension?

Should have been Oregon State last year, but we know how much leftists rally behind pedophiles and deviants.

Nah. I like Tim Corbin and he is always all class in victory or defeat. Vandy players also never seem to showboat or anything. They just go out and do their thing. I respect their program a great deal

As a State fan and a resident of Nashville for eleven years, I have gone to many, many Vanderbilt sporting events. I can attest that the Vandy baseball fan-base has certainly developed some arrogance. But it's just baseball and not basketball or football, even when they had successful seasons under Kevin Stallings and James Franklin. Games at Memorial Gymnasium are always fun to attend.

The last game at Hawkins Field that I attended was last season's Game 3 of the Super Regionals between STATE and Vandy. There were several men in their late 50s/early 60s (Vandy fans with their wives) who were heckling State's Right Fielder. The entire game. I just find it odd for an old man to heckle a 19-20 year old college athlete. If they want to do that at a MLB game, that's fine with me. I can understand if it's a drunk college student or teenager doing that...but not older men. It was great to watch the State players win and dog-pile at their field to advance to the CWS last year.

And I've been to many non-State vs Vandy games and have seen it a good bit.

Coach Tim Corbin is a class act. I have had the opportunity to meet him. And throughout the years he's always come off as genuine and classy when doing local Nashville radio interviews. I think the Vandy baseball players have been the same way throughout Corbin's tenure. They just go about and do their business.

I wouldn't say Vandy has become the most hated team in College Baseball...I still put LSU and UF ahead of them.

That whistler performance is actually pretty clever as an artistic expression of societal decline. Up there with Banksy’s Love Is in the Bin in my opinion.

andy doesn’t have success in a lot of sports. I forgive them for being enthusiastic about their damn good baseball program.

Excellent point.
