I can't agree with you on much of that except it being bigger and louder. For a stadium its size, however, Sanford is not loud.
Grant Field is a little tighter but I think it's equally as comfortable and has as good or better sight lines. It has much better views. It's surrounding area is fine IMO. It's near the better parts of the Tech campus. I think Grant Field is nicer looking and has a far more cohesive design. I think both stadiums are a little difficult to navigate.
Sanford is like JHS in that both suffer from being built out and designed across multiple decades which leaves it looking disjointed/inconsistent and too often cheap/ugly. I like JHS better, obviously, but I think both suffer from similar issues.

You sure you’re not thinking of some other stadium? Because Bobby Dodd Stadium is as piece meal and disjointed as they come.

Your judgment might be clouded by hate, but you are not wrong on this one. Sanford is not a great stadium, and does not trap noise the way many others do for some reason.

And like I said I think this just boils down to what your own individual preference is in a stadium. I mean hell take it a step further, why not say you prefer vandy over the big stadiums? It's small and cozy too, and there truly isn't a bad seat in the house. It's in a big city setting with a "city vibe" surrounding the immediate area. Easy to get around the concourses adn the fans are hospitable. Do you prefer that one over the 6digit seat mega stadiums as well?
