Let's rewind a bit to May of 2012.
The storied baseball program in Austin was on the bubble for the NCAA baseball tournament and were close to an at-large bid when they reached the tournament final.
If it weren't for those pesky Missouri Tigers winning the conference tournament, the steers and queers would be going to their 42nd straight tournament. Over the next 7 years, they would miss the tournament an additional 3 times, including 2 losing seasons resulting in last place finishes, sending coach Soggy Burrito out a loser in his final year.

Over 95% of college baseball would trade their last 8 years for what Texas has had in their last 8.
