What choice did he have? Not be the coach?

Two ways to look at that.

He's in full defiance of the NCAA and if fully banking on the NCAA not doing anything to him. That much is obvious.

Too bad reality is that the NCAA is investigating LSU and it's not close to over.

If you are so sure, may you please cite a concrete source of the NCAA investigating LSU currently? After all, I am an English teacher and like to see sources cited to back up possibly fallacious claims.

At this point there isn't. You're making no sense other than your agenda to see Wade and LSU penalized for something you so desperately want them to be found guilty of doing.

There's no evidence of wrongdoing, so had LSU fired him without that clause, LSU would have owed Wade $9M. Now why would a man who did something wrong (understanding evidence of said wrongdoing could come eventually out) waive all of his legal rights to that $9M.

He wouldn't. Only an innocent man would risk that.
