A&M has quite the reputation for this type of behavior. One that was earned long before they came to the SEC. It only intensified after we foolishly allowed them to join.

Daniel, or texags7 as he is known here, is a University of Houston student and full time racist/A&M fan(not all A&M fans are racist, but all racists are A&M fans). He created a fake Twitter account, pretending to be a Texas fan in order to attack black athletes committed to the University of Texas with the hope being they would commit to A&M instead. Well, a Texas forum found out who he was and it only got worse from there. Daniel(racist A&M fan)threatened to sue the owner of the site for slander because some upstanding and righteous Texas fans refused to stand for such blatant racism by calling Daniel's place of employment and sharing with them the truth about who he is. Daniel of course had no grounds to sue, so he tried to wipe the public realm clean of his involvement, but the damage was done and it was too late.
It really shed light on the deeply rooted racism at A&M, which was further reinforced by the firing of Sumlin after his wife brought to light the racism they experienced at the hands of other A&M fans.
Sad story all around.

I have always heard that many of their traditions were klan related but never was sure until I saw first hand the venom they spewed toward Sumlin, then I thought, maybe all that stuff I had always heard was true. It was rumored at their first bonfire, they lit a cross.

Fans of programs who have literally never had a black head football coach in their entire history of existence are using our black head coach as evidence of racism. What in the world.
