You see Pandy, it's not the "largely" part that people are concerned with. A question for you: if you are in a potentially hazardous line of work, known to carry large sums on money, often find yourself in undesirable locations (especially at night), or any other number of reasons wouldn't it be short sighted and naive not to carry, and have it known that you can/will defend yourself?

PS- It only takes once not having protection when it's needed.

So conceal carry.

You are afraid of something then. You're afraid of needing it and not having it.

The only time i see civilians open carry is in the suburbs and rural areas. Why do you think they're doing it? What could they possibly fear will happen?

Anyway, you kinda described a gangster or maybe a strip club owner or some shite like that.

I helped run a pawn shop and worked in the bail bond business while going to school at Alabama. Trust me, there are many people who move in and out of potential danger each day, especially with today's drug crisis in the country. I carried 45-50 years ago.
I certainly don't have a problem with conceal carry laws ANYWHERE, but would be open-minded to a stronger open-carry law.

I don't really know what he was describing, but I have a buddy who drives all over to fill ATMs, routinely has 10's of thousands of Dollars in a lockbox in his work vehicle at any given time. Some of the ATMs he services are not in the most classy areas...

of course, he carries (concealed). Idk who exactly the other guy was describing, but my buddy is one such person who fits.

My own 2 cents: carry, but do so concealed. open carrying just makes you a target to catch the 1st bullet, in my opinion. That being said, I support open carry laws 100% for many reasons. such as:
1. I can make that decision myself without government intervention
2. if you carry concealed, and unintentionally uncover, you can't be charged with a crime due to open carry laws.
