Jimbo is a decent X's and O's coach who can run a program

If Jimbo puts some great evaluators around him he can be dangerous.

As much talent as he brought to Florida St they underachieved. The evaluators at Florida State including Tim Brewster weren't the best.

Best comparsion I have to Jimbo is Mark Richt

He better be stronger than Richt, or it'll get sticky in CS real quick....he should be OK.

Jimbo is a fantastic football mind and at least at some point seemed to have an eye for talent and assistants. The perfect storm was the Candi situation combined with our NC, he seemed to turn into an angry man that refused to admit to any mistake. He refused to address his own playcalling/plodding offensive scheme, Rick Trickett continually fielding an OL that could barely line up, and the promotion of Charles Kelly to DC when poor Chuck didn't know what a goddamn split was. I don't know how many people watched the FSU season doc thing on HBO or Showtime in 2016 but I'm surprised that the guy who resorted to having players sign promise notes to "play hard" is the same guy worth $75 million and has reinvented himself as an elite coach. We'll see I guess
