Interesting metric. If you have more players leave after 3 years for the NFL, your score goes down. It would be interesting to see the actual calculation for each school.

Why not look at the performance of the entire program in the classroom?

Well, Alabammer players start with 5th grade-level education, so they have to progress.

FSU was lowest in FBS at 936, posting a 922 in 2017-18

4 years:
2017-18 = 922
2016-17 = 966
2015-16 = 938
2014-15 = 918
