I'm not saying you can't be entertained. I'm just saying you have to look by a lot of contradictions, plot holes and just outright strange decision making.
Actually, I don't have to do any of that to still be entertained

Condescension noted My mind doesn't have to be "turned off" to enjoy Game of Thrones If I found myself not enjoying it, I would refrain from watching it.

There are literally verifiable plot holes in not just the entire Eighth Season, but especially in Episode six. Plot holes are a sign of bad writing.
You have to suspend the part of your mind that believes in tangible writing in order to enjoy it is the entire purpose of the statement. It's not a debate, it literally is.
"You guys are ridiculous." - Tbird, totally not being condescending.
I forgive you though.
Also, you've said the same thing three times in a row, we understood that part -- that if you don't like something you wouldn't watch it. If it's a sneaky slight at how much I disliked the season, I've already explained in kind: My enjoyment of a show comes from having studied literature for quite some time and being an English teacher.
I hated the writing. The acting, sound, cinematography and the story (beforehand) were all amazing. Many parts were enjoyable.
You have to, though, ignore things like Ser Davos telling a roving band of warrior Eunuchs (not Varys spymaster types of Eunuchs) that they should create their own House! Again, it's a fact. It's not up for discussion whether or not that's horrifically bad writing and it's not our job to fill those gaps with story explanations. (I.e., oh, well, maybe Ser Davos didn't know they were eunuchs.)
