I watched some @finebaum today unfortunately, and he predicts this may be a major topic of conversation in the next few months.

Do you all agree? Do you think the change will be made?

Mizzou to the West?

How much longer do you want Mizzou to be irrelevant?

Does Bama drop UT or Auburn as their perm East rival? Seems to be the primary issue of this topic.

nope. if bama didn't have UT as their cross division yearly game, it would. They will not give up that game.

I think it would probably be good for the conference but I love playing Auburn every year so I don’t want it to happen.

No thanks.

We beat Mizzou.

We cannot for the life of us beat Auburn.

I disagree. Auburn belongs in the West. They've been there since the divisions were implemented. Let them stay, they don't belong in the East

I don't care where Missouri is, as long as they're out of the SEC

Just quit calling it east and west.

Reseed the teams every decade.

Have the Saban division and the Bear Bryant division.

So the teams would be ranked 1 though 14 by conference record after 2021.

1,3,5,7,9,11,13
2, 4,6,8,10,12,14

Would be the divisions for 10 years.

The reason it will never happen is because the Auburn-Georgia and the Alabama-Tennessee football games that are such a tradition cannot be ended. Even the permanent opponent thing wouldn’t fix that. Oh lord unless they do 2 permanent opponents.

I’d hate to lose Auburn to the Easy, but if they get replaced with another auto win like Mizzou I guess I’m cool with it

Auburn's desperation to drop the Iron Bowl has reached the point of enlisting Mizzou fans.

Sad really.

I think that’d be great.
Also, I’m all for seeing the two Tennessee schools split into West/East, along with the two Mississippi schools.
If geography is an issue, change the division names to something non-location related.

Bama and Tennessee is only a rivalry if they both wear home uniforms. Nick Saban refuses to let both wear home uniforms therefore it is no longer a rivalry.

That guys a tool. A successful and wealthy tool but still a tool. He speaks in terms of anonymous sources and creates his own smoke like clock work.

No. Just leave it the way it is until we eject Mizzou.
