You guys that bitch about the schedule kill me. lol. It's like you'd rather have a game against a football blueblood than win a championship.

Btw Saban has lobbied for a 9th SEC game. The rest of the conference balked at it.

Exactly. He has lobbied to get a 9th game, but it panned by the rest of the conference. We have played the same basic schedule for a very long time. In their early years, that stadium was always packed from beginning to end. The students just got used to winning and don’t feel like showing up for a OOC game that we are favored by 25+. I think that this is a step in the right direction, but I don’t know how they will be able to verify whether they leave or stay.

I watch sports to be entertained. Nothing is entertaining about playing Mercer. If you don't want to play better teams, ok, but don't bitch when my seats are empty or if I leave at halftime.

Lost in all of this is how we've ducked the blue bloods lately. And judging from the fact that we haven't dominated a title game since 2012, we've probably been doing so strategically...

Maybe that's just me.
