Obviously Naz Reid isn’t an offense alone pick but surprised he is that high on the list.

Isaiah Joe doesn’t even make the list?
He isn't quite used on 20% of possessions - 18.8%

He’s on pace to break the Arkansas single season three point record held by Scotty Thurman.
He’s on pace to break the NCAA record for 3 point pct. by a freshman.

Given his numbers, usage and overall team performance I'd probably go Naz Reid.
Posted on 3/3/19 at 3:42 pm to SummerOfGeorge
I'd probably go all-rookie team......
1st Team
Lewis (Bama)
Herro (UK)
Johnson (UK)
Joe (ARK)
Reid (LSU)
2nd team
Perry (State)
Lawson (USCe)
Johnson (UF)
Smart (LSU)
Nesmith (Vandy)

EJ Montgomery UK (4.0 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 0.3 apg, 1.0 bpg, 0.3 spg)
Naz Reid LSU (13.5 ppg, 7.0 rpg, 0.8 apg, 0.8 bpg, 0.8 spg)
Tyler Herro UK (13.9 ppg, 4.4 rpg, 2.3 apg, 0.3 bpg, 1.0 spg)
Andrew Nembhard UF (8.1 ppg, 2.7 rpg, 5.2 apg, 0.0 bpg, 1.3 spg)
Kira Lewis UA (14.0 ppg, 2.5 rpg, 2.9 apg, 0.3 bpg, 0.8 spg)
Ashton Hagans UK (7.5 ppg, 2.3 rpg, 4.3 apg, 0.1 bpg, 1.9 spg)
Keldon Johnson UK (13.4 ppg, 5.8 rpg, 1.6 apg, 0.1 bpg, 0.7 spg)
Emmitt Williams LSU (7.0 ppg, 5.3 rpg, 0.4 apg, 0.6 bpg, 0.3 spg)
Javonte Smart LSU (11.4 ppg, 3.3 rpg, 2.4 apg, 0.1 bpg, 1.4 spg)
Reggie Perry MSST (9.8 ppg, 6.9 rpg, 0.6 apg, 0.8 bpg, 0.5 spg)
A.J. Lawson USC (13.9 ppg, 4.4 rpg, 3.0 apg, 0.2 bpg, 1.1 spg)
Kayshawn Bryant USC (8.7 ppg, 3.8 rpg, 1.4 apg, 0.5 bpg, 0.7 spg)
Both Lawson and Bryant deserve as much consideration as most in the above list does. Especially Lawson, who is 2nd in the SEC in ppg for freshmen, and is such a major impact player for the Gamecocks this season. Lawson is the ONLY SEC Freshman to be in the top 5 in Points (2nd), assists (3rd), rebounds (T-5th), and steals (4th) per game....

Yea Lawson is definitely in the 1st/2nd team convo.
Bryant has the 2nd worst offensive rating in the conference.
Bryant has the 2nd worst offensive rating in the conference.

WHat are you basing this "offensive rating"? He's averaging 8.7 ppg, 3.8 rpg, and shooting .449 on the season...

KenPom - Offensive Rating

Offensive rating (ORtg): A measure of personal offensive efficiency developed by Dean Oliver. The formula is very complicated, but accurate.

Do you have a link that I can access and educate myself, if you do not wish to educate me? I mean, in the case for Emmitt Williams, 117.8 and 15.9% are impressive numbers, but they will forever be just numbers to me if I don't have any background descriptions for what they are.....
As an example for my case, further above you gave a list of what % of offensive possessions each freshman are used for, but you have a list of one each for 3-4 teams, and then you have two USC freshmen. Does that mean that both USC freshmen adversely impact each other's offensive possession %s because they share between them, while the others do not have to share with other top freshmen on their teams?
EDIT: nevermind on the 1st paragraph, as you added another post with the requested info while I was posting my request....

I posted the link up above - it's basically supposed to be an all encompassing number of your impact offensively. However, they clearly state the % of possessions you are an influence on (I don't remember the exact definition there but it is basically you shoot, you hold the ball half the possession, etc). So, Emmitt Williams has the highest in the league, but he doesn't influence that many possessions, so it isn't quite as impressive.
Lawson and Lewis have lower ones, but they are having to run their teams as true freshman at the point, which inherently makes things more difficult for them and leads to the possibility of more mistakes.
I would assume that being on a team with more offensive weapons would inherently help your offensive rating number as it would be really hard to isolate out an individual in a "what if their teammates weren't good" scenario in basketball like you could in say baseball.
