If they had any brains they'd find a strip mall with a deli or donut shoppe next to Mama Sans and work in some free happy endings for "security" services.

Because these women are basically slaves. Reportedly given no off days, given 1500 men per year and provided with a terrible hygiene environment.
Much of the time in these situations the women were deceived into thinking they were pursuing legitimate job opportunities.
