Mizzou never offered Love, I wouldn’t call that losing a guy the staff didn’t want.

That's because he wasn't interested in Mizzou. That seems to be the trend with Trinity players. That's still a lost to me when you don't have truly real shot with the top players in your state and especially the Lou.
Trinity's new coach is a former Mizzou player and you would think that would help Mizzou with a few of their players.

I have always heard that he was interested, but Ford wasn’t.

The only reason these kids are going there is Patterson. Until Illinois fixes their oline recruiting and development, all the 4* skill talent in the world won't matter. I hope they enjoy winning 4 games a year.
It's really too bad the Arch Rivalry is dormant. Beating the shite out of the Otters on a yearly basis would curb some of this.

Mizzou is not really pursuing the Trinity guys. Something is strained with that relationship apparently.
Oh well, they can all go to Illinois and win 3 games a year
We’ll be ok

It’s not just Mizzou that’s not chasing the Trinity players. There seems to be a big difference between what coaches think of those players and what the recruiting sites think.

Illinois has started off the 2020 recruiting season with a bang and just got a verbal from wr Jadon Thompson from Chicago who Mizzou was high on. I'm not a fan of the Illini and I hope their luck start running out soon.

It seemed like over night 1/2 of the top players in state were from Trinity. The other half were from other smaller schools like Lutheran North. It really gives me the vibe that someone responsible for the rankings went to Trinity or is from North County/City.

4* LB Antonio Doyle has set officials for Mizzou and A&M

If he were at Trinity then I’d agree. He’s not.

CB Dontae Manning to OU
I would stay on him. If he does not get the 4th star because OU wants him he will be expendable by OU when a 4 or 5 star DB comes there way. He should get the 4th star though.

He’s already a 4*. We looked to be in good shape early but after he visited Zero U it was all over but the crying.

Has OU played defense since the Roy Williams-led defenses left?

Expecting Jay Maclin to commit today.
