Yes it does. You know what's worse, though? If you mess around and fall down...especially on a hard surface.

I found that out the hard way during Thanksgiving weekend. Banged up one of my knees pretty bad, and it seemed like it took forever for the pain and swelling to go away. It hurts worse and takes longer to heal as you get older....I am 50, by the way. Other than being diabetic, which was inherited from my dad, I am in pretty good shape for my age. I still jog 5k 4 times a week. But that fall ruined my running for a little bit.

I can understand now how a simple fall can eff up someone that's of a more advanced age than I am.
