Yeah I don’t believe it. Dude was a great RB coach for Auburn but has no business running an entire offense

FWIW- The GA side says nothing offer for OC. Discussed another position coach opening. Agent parlayed this into a raise and new contract. This happens every year...nothing to see hear

Seriously?

I don't care if he got his first blowjob there, professionally it makes no sense to stay there

Nobody said Athens is some kind of football mecca, I just stated professionally if he stayed, he is an idiot and its fact as UGA is and will be for the foreseeable future, a better football program.

But we didn't offer, its all bs.

carry on.

You'd be better off understanding that the OP was a mistake and just stay out of the thread.

I actually liked Chaney a bit. Thought he was solid. But Tennessee made him the highest paid offensive coordinator in college football. While I think he is solid, he is not the best offensive coordinator.

But more to your point....you are correct that he did not get a $2 million raise. It was a huge exaggeration. He went from roughly $950,000 to $1.6 million in salary. For all the criticizing some people do towards Chaney, I wish I was making that kind of money.

Exaggerating how good he is?
Or exaggerating [3x $900k] is $2m less than [3x $1.6m]?

OP was not a mistake. You can call it disputable, because UK media is saying he was offered the job, UGA is saying he wasn't.

I chose to believe UK media, because well, I want to

..........and do you honestly believe anybody would take a step back? That takes some stones to even approach somebody with that.

And your last girlfriend didn’t break up with you either right? She just quietly rode off in the sunset.

Y’all are hilarious.

So, the fan of the team that finished last in the East, lost to Vanderbilt and believes Chaney is the best thing since sliced bread has jokes?

Big talk from a fan of a team that hasn't been relevant in 15 years and can't even make a bowl game in most years.

Bowl games are just another L on your record when you don't win. I figured y'all knew that from personal experience. Congrats on your season.
