"Freshman Trevor Lawrence started the second half but failed to move the ball effectively and Bryant took over and led the Tigers on two touchdown drives in the last five minutes of the third quarter to extend the lead to 15 points. Swinney said he'd continue to play both quarterbacks next week, but that he was happy with Bryant's work late.

"There's no doubt that I thought Kelly there in the fourth quarter settled in," Swinney said. "He gave us the experience we needed in that moment to come out of here with a win."

As one poster mentioned, he's better than any of the returning QB's, and he offers a very good bridge between Robinson and/or Bazelak. It's a very good fit for Mizzou and Bryant.

He doesn't have to carry the offense. He'll have a very good RB rotation behind him. Rountree went for over 200 yards in the bowl game and 1200 + on the season. Albert O is coming back so Mizzou is set at TE, which should offer Bryant a good security blanket in the pass game.

Mizzou loses Hall so the deep threat is gone and will need to be replaced. Lots of young WR's played this year so hopefully they can take a step forward. The o-line should be solid.

Overall, Mizzou will be a run first team next season and they'll use that to set up the pass. If Bryant can stay away from TO's, I think Mizzou's offense will end up just fine. Expect a similar team next year to this years team. A team that can beat just about anyway, save Alabama or most likely Georgia, but it may also be a team that could stub their toe and drop one they shouldn't. Luckily the schedule sets up well for Mizzou. I'll call 9-3 right now.
