That definitely had a big impact. He was kicking from the right hash so already aiming left. Then the tip occurred on the right side of the ball which would adjust the trajectory to the left even more. Plus it affected the rotation of the ball which you could see it started slowing down and diving when it got near the post. Chances are without the tip it would have been good but just inside the left upright.
