Does that mean that every black UGA football player could transfer elsewhere and play immediately? If not, why not.

If Fields was so worried about racism why did he chose to stay with the team through the Sugar Bowl?

It opens a giant can of worms for sure. IMO I don’t think he gets the waiver.

He’s going to ride the bench at Ohio State anyway. Maybe the benches are just nicer up there.

No it means Ohio State as an upper echelon program such as Alabama simply made it happen.

Whether by dollars or politics is irrelevant.

Georgia trying the meddle in big boy things can't be a good thing so just let it go.

Coaches/fans/schools have done this to football.
Changing jobs voluntarily/involuntarily at breakneck pace only increases the rationality of not punishing the players for moving as well.

He shouldn’t have to put forth a BS excuse. He should be able to just transfer.

This is a bad look for Georgia and it is why Kirby handled this with kid gloves.

Fields is playing the race because society allows him too.

You have a point. I hate the NCAA. At least what Fields is doing will embarrass them either way. They will be called racist if they don't let him play or they will be mocked for letting him play immediately for no reason.

Screw the NCAA

This is an abortion of a ruling if a butthurt QB is granted an immediate transfer because of something said in the stands during a game. Just wow.
