Okay but Texas only had 3 regular season losses all the same as LSU. To penalize Texas for playing an extra game, playing in a championship game, and losing, is the same logic as those idiots who use lebrons finals record against him as if getting to 7 consecutive nba finals isn’t alien enough. Sure, laugh all you want Texas has the loss of the season at maryland, but that was literally the FIRST week of the season. Come on y’all. I know you’re not stupid enough to think that that week is anywhere near relevant here in the immediate aftermath of bowl season. Even if you are from the SEC.

Texas has the two biggest wins of the season of any team not named bama in Georgia and Oklahoma. I don’t think anyone will argue that. And with all our offensive talent returning, our genius defensive coordinator and the greatest defensive backs recruiting haul OF ALL TIME class of ‘18........... idk...... y’all just better watch out for years to come is all I’m saying

If Georgia is bad then why is it a big win?

HAHAHHAHA THE “GEORGIA WASNT INTERESTED” CROWD IS HERE HOLD TF UP LEMME GO GET POPCORN

Well, since the CFP started, the team that was ranked 5th in the CFP are 1-4 in their bowl games. None of them are interested because they are disappointed they're not playing for a Natty.

Georgia was no different...not interested.

But LSU played a tougher schedule, had more wins against ranked opponents and only lost to ranked opponents. Also, LSU just defeated the reigning national champion and broke their 25 game win streak (sarcasm).

No one said Georgia is bad you tard. The problem is, before the game I keep hearing the same narrative: “oh Georgia is so mOTiVaTed after seeing ND and OU get whooped, Texas better get ready for an arse whooping” or “Georgia is the lock of bowl season” (literally an article I saw) or “how is Texas even playing in the sugar bowl they lost 4 times”

And fricking NOW, after we convincingly stomped you in a game where it was DOCUMENTED that you clearly had all the reason for motivation (has a nick saban team ever gotten a lack of motivation excuse? Don’t think so) you assholes STILL have the audacity to claim you’re better than us and stick your noses up??

Honestly y’all, come back to this thread when Texas wins the NC next year. Especially if LJ announces he’s returning. I’ll be here ????

You had 4 losses...you lost to MARYLAND two years in a row. STFU.

Georgia outscored texas after the 1st quarter. And in the 2nd half.

How do y’all not understand that the sec teams have higher “strength of schedule” simply from the committee sec bias. The committee tells you that since low level sec teams are “ranked” Alabama’s wins over sorry arse teams like South Carolina (which got WHOLLOPED by some east coast boys) are impressive. Mississippi state was ranked all year but couldn’t beat iowa???? What???? Literally a bunch of dim witted cornfield boys. But you’ll go ahead and tell me that those teams also weren’t motivated because it “wAsNt sEc pLAY” please give me a break. Lack of results and sorry excuses.

lol crazy you don't remember the OU-Bama game. I don't blame you for not remembering the Bama Utah game though. This isn't a new thing. Texas was 9-4 coming in with everything to gain. UGA just lost a heartbreaker to Bama and had nothing to gain. Congrats to Texas for winning. It absolutely still counts and it's certainly not Texas' fault for UGA being unmotivated. Still, it's fairly obvious to everyone except Texas fans that UGA didn't want to be there.

You lost to North Texas and Colorado State, your opinion on anything is invalid.

“Pretty obvious that georgia didn’t wanna be there”

Lol...... okay dude..... Texas pretty obviously doesn’t wanna be there in a road game against a decent but not great Maryland team first game of the season do they? Do they get a gimme free pass just cuz they didn’t want to be there? No we don’t, because we lost. I will say though, in all the games we’ve lost this year (and the past two years for that matter) not ONCE have we gotten our lunch money stolen the way Georgia did against us and LSU, the way LSU did against bama. We fight and are competitive in every game, even against the very best. Just because we had a tendency to play down to bad opponents (and usually end up winning because we ARE the better team) where other teams stomp them does not make them better than us.

The difference is that our teams can actually win their OOC games and actually get bowl eligible.

SEC’s top 4 teams went 3-1
Big 12 top 4 teams went 1-3

LSU beat UGA by more.

I’d be willing to bet my life savings Texas wins the game against LSU in Austin next September. We’ll be favored to be DAMN sure

Invalid? HAHAHA...Oh yeah, because a team I follow sucked means I can't have an opinion on college football. I can only watch Arkansas games. Got it.

Doesn't change the FACT that Texas lost to a shitty Maryland team 2 years in a row.

Texas lost 4 games? And they’re losing a vast majority of their starting 22?
