Returning GT OL already know how cut block; now they can learn how to hold.

Funny enough, GT has a couple of guys that didn’t pan out in cut blocking but were more pass block guys. One of them is Jack DeFoor who transferred to GT from Ole Miss when Freeze left. He didn’t play much with Paul Johnson but he probably stands to benefit greatly.
All of the linemen have pass blocked all through high school so it’s not like they haven’t done it ever. They’ll need to knock some rust off.
GT’s new OC doesn’t run one scheme. He is multiple and will tailor the the offense to the pieces he has. He can do a number of things to mitigate pass block issues like quick strike routes and getting one of the 200 running backs on their roster out in space.
