Ive actually been watching band of Brothers too (alabeit on Blu-ray)
I have seen The Pacific, but never BoB. Close to being done
Speirs was a machine. Served in WW2, Korea, and the Laotian civil war

BoB may be the best series ever. Steven Spielberg directed it. Anyone who wants to know the intensity of the war in Europe need only watch the series.
