Here's a picture of the trophy you get for winning three quarters:

Lincoln Riley can thank the best player in college football for his 34 points. Without Murray this game is a blowout.
Also my opinion if you switch Tua and Kyler Alabama probably puts up 100 points. Kyler is a much better QB than Tua.

Then you clearly don’t understand Saban. Kyler would’ve been running the same game plan Tua did from the 2Q on. Sustained drives to keep the ball out of Oklahoma’s hands.
It’s amazing that Bama has been so dominant for so long, yet so many people have failed to grasp how Saban approaches games.

Kylers height disadvantage did cause him some issues on three or 4 of his throws. Beyond that look at Completion percentage and Qbr to see who the better QB was last night.

Meh. Who cares? He is trying to talk himself and his team up for his fanbase.

Who cares what he’s saying? It isn’t keeping Bama out of the championship.
Anyone with a brain saw what happened and will make their own conclusion. Don’t be so frail and weak over what a coach says.

Yeah, they started running the clock with 44 minutes to play. That makes sense.
Bama attempted 10 passes the entire second half and had possessions of 8, 9, 5, and 9 plays.
Running the clock out is too extreme, but they were absolutely thanking the air out of the ball and it worked to perfection.

Does Riley not understand that the first quarter counts to?

If Bama and ou played 10 times Bama wins all 10.

Comparing OU performance to UGAs is a joke, only one of those games was the game actually in doubt for Bama only one of those games was Bama losing until the last five minutes
Get over it barners, we are better than you and are going to be for the foreseeable future

The heat and humidity probably played into that plan as well. Give the defense time to rest.
But even conceding Riley's point, he played into Bama's hands a little. Bama D did a good job limiting explosive plays OU is used to getting, so they were forced to grind out long drives. Of course, we helped them with a lot of dumb penalties.

I’m telling you now Auburn wins next year. They may beat both Bama and Georgia. I don’t care what their roster is which isn’t bad but somehow some way we all know what’s coming.

Sonofabitch. We have already lost two games next year. Corndogs And Boogs. Who would think it?

Actually they started bleeding the clock in the first qtr on the third possession. Check the film (Coaches film room actually calls them out on it).
I'm surprised OU got as many offensive snaps as they did.

He can say whatever he wants but he was desperate enough to go for it on 4th down in his own territory in the first quarter.

I mean yeah....Bama could have scored 60 if they kept throwing but the D would have been too gassed, Bama ran the ball to try and slow OU down and kill clock, welcome to football buddy.

I came into this Oklahoma-Alabama thread expecting Auburn dickriders trying to make it about UGA.
Was not disappointed.

Tua is a better QB and if you don't see that you're a dumbass or ignorant, did you see the throws he was making last night? He was throwing perfect balls. Kyler isn't the entire Oklahoma team, he has a very good Oline that kept him from being killed last night, he has good receivers that catch his badly thrown balls and they are good blockers.
