To be fair, it's unlikely that LSU would have had much more success with Saban than they did Miles. Their career records through 11 seasons were essentially identical until Saban went to Alabama, when he suddenly became the best coach of all time.

I wholeheartedly agree. At Bama, the only thing is winning championships. No matter what it takes. And they will give complete control to a coach who can bring them titles. CNS would never have had that kind of control and support from the administration at LSU. Just the way it is.
