Of course Prattville was not much of a program in FB until about 20 years ago. Who was the first coach that made them relevant. Didn't Clark coach there and have success.
Prattville won the 6A state title in 1984 (14-1), that was also the first year they won more than 8 games. After that, they only won more than 10 games once (1990, 11-2) before Clark took over in 1999. Clark took over a bad program and went 7-3 and 9-2 in his first two years. They really got rolling in 2001 and continued until he left after the 2007 season. When he left, he was on a 30 game winning streak and hadn't lost a regular season game since a last second loss to Central Tuscaloosa in week 2 of 2002 (also didn't lose a regular season game in 2001).

Jamie Dubose was able to win another state title in 2008 to make it a 3-peat for Prattville. Then had a few down years before winning another in 2011. Jamie left for another school after 2011, and then the program tanked under Anderson.
