That's if you can find the next Gene Stallings, which frankly would be great. But it's not Clark. We need more proven leadership than Bill's UAB stint and one year at Jacksonville State. Stallings came to Alabama with assistant coaching experience, HC of Texas A&M, an NFL head coach and a Super Bowl ring.


Seriously, it's not hard to look at Alabama's boom and bust periods and realize, whenever we hand the keys to absolute proven commodities, we prosper.

When we hand it over to a "he was pretty good at this small job, maybe he'll do good here" or worse, a no experience assistant... we drop.

He was awful at Texas A&M and never had a winning season in the NFL.

I misunderstood your gif. I thought you were saying NO to another Stallings. You are saying Clark will not be another Stallings. I don’t have an opinion either way on that issue.
