You know, I have enormous respect for Saban as a coach, but it's really getting just weird now. It's like watching a pitch-black dramatic comedy and wondering if you're supposed to laugh or treat it as a serious plotline.

On the other hand, I have to admit that there's something a bit inspiring about coaches getting a chance to redeem themselves and return to coaching wiser and a bit more humble. In times past, most of them would have spent the rest of their careers scrounging for mid- and low-level jobs, never getting a real shot at returning to the big time in some capacity.
