Football coaches need to be stern and strict. Having coached, its important to do everything for a reason. If you are yelling at a player, calling him out, etc. is it to make a point? Is it to teach him some humility? Does he need more motivation?

There are plenty of good reasons to yell, call out, etc to players. If you are yelling at a player that has a good attitude that made a mistake because of your lack of instruction, you are a bad coach.
