I have. If you're not going in predisposed to think he's an a-hole, I think it's pretty obvious that, more than anything, he's just straightforward and honest. He'll go off on stupid questions (or questions he considers stupid, anyway) and get impatient over this sort of thing, but one thing that's obvious is that he's just as willing to be complimentary as he is to be blunt. The guy seriously doesn't go out of his way to be nasty. What he says might rub some people the wrong way but I've yet to see him say anything that seemed like that was his intention.

I find it refreshing, honestly. Someone who can be blunt without coming across as malicious or deliberately insensitive is pretty rare.
