Think you have some grammar issues going on with that last post. Personally I don’t know that KB is the answer, but perception is a helluva drug. Good news for the program though.

Players win...coaches lose.
Some folks dig their feet in and will never admit they were wrong.
It is what it is.

We went 8-4 (almost 10-2) playing against 4 top 14 teams without our star WR for the heart of our schedule and we did just sign a 4 star freshman QB along with a grad transfer that led a team to the CFB playoff 2 years in a row and a NCG one of those years.
Sure BO made some coaching errors, but 2 blown calls also cost us those 2 games. Football is a game of inches.

If you’re anything but excited at this particular point in time then your just a miserable sob.
It can’t get anymore obvious that that.

I think you might. that 10-2 was attainable but didn't happen is not a point in BO/JQ/your favor.

The improvement is great. But he continues to blow games on game day and his teams get penalized a shite ton. I'm all for seeing what he does at this point, but he needs to fix those issues before he get's big money.
The fact that he put together a top 12 roster is a big point in his favor. That he went 8-4 (unranked) with it and is playing an Okie St team that finished 3-6 in the bevo is a big minus

Did you know the Dooley is in his first ever as an offensive coordinator? This is huge! Barry Odom had a lot of confident in Dooley to step in without zero experience as an offensive coordinator. SEC fans were laughing at Missouri of hiring Dooley to be the offensive coordinator. It took time early on to get things going. Learning curve. Now everything is sky high for Missouri right now. I mean we are moving in the right direction to be a very good football team. Next year shall be even better when the coaches get together in the off season to make some more progress in the program in general. That is what Gary Pinkel did with his staffs. Takes some time to build a more consistency winning culture again. I am seeing that right now. No one thought Odom was going to recruit some good transfer players and keeping Missouri from falling back down to being a so and so team and be the doormat in the SEC. I am seeing this is for real we do have a special coach and knows how to find a good replacement in any position. Recruiting should get better this year and next year as well.

Very happy. Before anyone moves the goal posts too far, the new QB has to learn the offense, and Dooley has to learn the new QB. The WR's and TE's all have to learn the new QB, and vice-versa.
As to the Bo discussion, yeah he has screwed up. Pinkel screwed up, too. Troy, Navy, etc....we lost games we should have won. Pinkel adjusted to P5 demands. In 3 more years I expect Bo to be better.

Why did he choose Missouri in the first place? Because he checked it out at Missouri and talked to both the head coach and the offensive coordinator and all went very well. Now if he had to learn all that and was going to be hard then he would not have chosen Missouri. He must have felt comfortable with the offense system that Missouri is running right now. There probably be some tweak in the system but the more the better for Missouri to use in the future. You mean he will continue to make huge mistakes? I doubt that. The was the last 4 games went and it was great! I am telling you sit back and enjoy the next generation of Missouri football! Missouri is on the rise and should stay that way in the near future too.

I think Mizzou won because of the situation at the other two schools is somewhat unstable. After the protests, Pinkel stepping down, and a poor few years - even I thought we'd be far from stable right now. Especially compared to Auburn.
Barry deserves 3.2-3.4 and definitely an increase on his staff payroll.

that we went 8-4 with NFL talent at QB
The real point of the Auburn fan's post was that MU doesn't have the surrounding talent for Bryant to matter.

Second, good luck to him. But Missouri just went 8-4 with an NFL QB. They aren’t beating Georgia without 4 and 5 star talent across the rest of the team.
Do you agree with him?

I guess that's just the difference in expectations then. If Mizzou can give Georgia a run for their money every couple of years and be top 2-3 in the east with consistent 9-10 win seasons I'm fine with that. Until the University shells out the big bucks and fans start showing up to games like Georgia fans do can we really expect more? I remember when I started at Mizzou in 2002-2003 and they were completely irrelevant, so consistent 9-10 win seasons in the SEC would be killing it IMO.

Consistent 9-10 win seasons in the SEC would make us a perennial top 10ish type team. That’s a great goal, but as an expectation it’s probably way out of whack with the type of support this program receives.
I can only hope that we go into next season with a lot of excitement and people start showing up.
