Yes they are two different ones. One had control and was transferring possession to the left hand. One had three fingers on a football pinned to the ground.

If that was a pass and Mond caught it against the ground does he possess control?

No. No he does not. And he did not have it then.

Not sure what this means. Rules for passes and fumbles are completely different. A trapped against the ground pass is incomplete every time.

You obviously haven't even seen the play or the ball. The ball was nose up and nose down, it was not laying on the ground. Mond had the nose of the ball in his palm and his fingers around the ball. He picked it up completely off the ground and stood up with it in this position. He changed his grip after it was above his waist.

Did any of you watch the game or a single replay? Your 3 fingers... trapped the ball against the ground... is total bullshite. That is not how it happened and not what a single video shows. Good god.
