That's alot of records broken for a 5-6 team that finished 2-6 in the conference. I'm calling BS.

There is no question he would be a better x and o coach than Luke. But he sucks at recruiting. We would still have the same problem we have now. Not enough talent to beat anyone. And you think defense is bad now, defensive recruits aren't trying to play for Leach.

I get people are frustrated. But Leach would suck in the SEC.

Do you not remember Tim Couch? Leach was his OC at UK.

The 1998 UK Wildcats finished 7-5 with an Outback Bowl loss. Sure as Hell beats the shite we put out now.

Again, Wazzou’s defense is light years better than ours, but keep that narrative rolling, bubba. They give up 22 points per game this year, and we give up 40.

He’s had to recruit to Lubbock TX and Pullman WA. Not exactly the easiest pulls. I care more about his ability to make the players he has excel. Freeze was a master recruiter but his best team got destroyed by Memphis and he lost to Arkansas 75 years in a row. Simply having talent is meaningless if the coach is an idiot. There’s a happy medium somewhere where we might not get top 10 classes every year but damn we can easily pull in top 25 classes and with leach coaching them up and with a solid defensive coordinator (which he seems to have found) he would be a really solid SEC coach.
