Well...That's because UF had a bye week for years before the WLOCP. Spurrier saw to that. For 42 years...1954-1995...UGA played UF, AU, and GT three weeks in a row with no bye weeks and no bitching and moaning. And a lot of times, GT was actually good...

You got both at home last year and not a word out of any of you. You get both at home next year. STFU.

The home/away is for ticketholders. During away year, the conf schedule is shitty for ticketholders.

Simple solution, let's play in Athens again next year and keep it moving.

Alabama is always beaten up by the time the iron bowl rolls around. After playing LSU and MSU back to back in November- November is just a fought month for us.

I’d rather just play in Athens two years in a row to get it back to how it was

In case you forgot, UGa scheduled Auburn away back to back years just to keep the rivalry. I’d say we’ve done our part to keep up with your demands but now you guys are just being needy

Since the fourth-and-10 Devon Aromashodu catch/run/fumble of 2005, the Tigers are 3-10 against the Dawgs...

I would much rather this. Honestly though the bigger thing IMO is where it is. Even if it were a week or two earlier, that would be a lot better than a NC requiring the end of the season to be UGA (becoming a juggernaut), cupcake (yay), Alabama (gorilla with a chainsaw dick), SECCG (probably fricking UGA again), first round of the playoffs, NC. That is an insane stretch.

You realize Georgia plays Florida and Auburn in a three week window like Auburn plays Georgia and Alabama, right? I don't remember Georgia calling for the game to be moved when it was Florida winning all the Titles.
We have similar stretch thta you just described.

As for the we got the shaft when the schedule went to this....we had to travel to Auburn twice in a row to make the schedule work.

You guys (not you, necessarily) like to go around talking about us like we are crap, then you want to use the excuse that we are a rising juggernaut?

What happened to 1980?

While I agree we did cry, it has been Auburn crying ever since.
Suck it up and go. You have an easy early season schedule that you pad with easy wins and get an early ranking. Don't cry now that you have a tough late season schedule.

Nothing happened to 1980. It is still 38 years ago, long before most of the mutt fans on this board were born.

Actually we did. Quite a bit. but no more than Auburn would have if they had to play at Georgia two years in a row.

And now the series is back to close to even. It took the dwags a 12-3 run to start pulling weight in the rivalry.

AU is more concerned with the 4 week window of UGA/Bama/SEC Championship.
