He made a comment a few years back that recruiting guys who understood his defensive philosophy was more important than recruiting guys who were flashy and could shoot/score. The comment was in reference to Mike Carerra, the quintessential CFM player.
Our offense is stale. Teams know they can just pack it in, because our guys suck at ball movement, and they suck at shooting. It is tough to watch for me. Without a Thornwell/Dozier type who can get to the rim, we don't stand a chance. I think Bryant and Lawson both have a ton of potential, but beyond that, nobody impresses me in the least. Not even Silva.

Carerra was a great player to have for our team, but lets look at him post college.
Where is he? Out of basketball? (I do not see him on that G League roster that he was reported to be on a few months ago)
I wouldn't be shocked if Frank hated Michael Beasley and wanted to bench him, and look where he is, sure not an amazing career but he's still in the NBA, why's that, because he knows how to score the basketball.

Frank has recruited a bunch of support guys not take charge guys like Sin was. I thought it was ludicrous for the program to try and make Silva into some type of potential all-amercian in the media during preseason. Because of Franks unwillingness to change we now have a team that is full of project role players. Lawson is the only one I see that may have the talent to shed the role player label.
So my question to everyone is do we ride with Frank and give this class of freshman another 2 to 3 seasons or do we look to go into another route with a different coach? He has taken this , bottom of the barrel, program to the highest achievement the men's basketball program has ever achieved. It is also looking like his program will need to go through rebuilding stages constantly with the hopes of a tourny run every 4 years.
