It’s not bamas fault everyone else sucks arse!
That’s what really takes the fun out of it. Nobody is stepping up to be challenge. It’s just a bunch of typical average sec teams that will end up getting beat by some big ten team in their bowl games.

Do you really think the rest of the teams aren't trying? Please. They told me bama fans were dumb, but come on...
There are 129 teams in college football. Statistically speaking, if it were as easy as bama fans claim, everyone would be doing it. When nobody else CAN do it, that points to something other than random chance. Or maybe something else is going on.
Good for Bama with their run. I hope they enjoy it.
But you'll never convince me that a single team domination, or repeating Clemson vs Bama 4 years in a row is good for the sport as a whole. For folks like us, we'll tune in regardless. For the casual fan, they'll find something else.
Case in point. Jimmy Johnson and Nascar. Starting in 2005 Jimmy ripped off 5 championships in a row. Something that had never been done before in Nascar. He won 35 races during that stretch, roughly 20% of the total. The problem with that is/was that fans became complacent with the product, and both attendance and viewership dropped in the sport. It put the sport on a trajectory that it has yet to recover from. (some people will point to the recession of 2008 effecting attendance numbers. And it's true that hurt. But the recessions should have nothing to do with people staying at home and watching TV sets.)
So don't see this as a post hating on Alabama and Clemson. See it as a post that is truly concerned with the path that NCAA college football is on. Given the CTE discussion that is starting to happen, if you aren't concerned with where football is going as a sport, you aren't paying attention....
