I don't understand why so many fans of other teams don't understand why we LSU fans are happy to have him. The guy is good at football.

For 1, we love his attitude. He has everything you want in terms of leadership ability, toughness, decision making, Etc. Secondly, Burrow is athletic. Don't be surprised if Burrow uses his legs several times on Saturday to get crucial first downs. Third, obviously his passing stats are not great, especially when compared to Tue and the other high powered offenses in this league, but he is doing what is asked of him.

His completion percentage isn't good, but has been affected by drops/throw aways. Burrow does not force throws, and rarely turns the ball over. If it's not there, he is getting rid of it. He can read defenses and make the correct changes at the line pre-snap. I'm happy to have him. I think his teammates and coaches are happy to have him. That is enough for me.

You understand that a "throwaway" is a good play by the defense, correct? May as well be a pass defended, otherwise known as an incompletion.

This bizarre "throwaway, tipped ball, defender in his face, dropped ball" excuse was invented by LSU fans for their below average at passing QB.

that's not exactly true. If you look at passing stats from conference games, his completion percentage is about the same as ta'amu who is #2 in the conference
