I'll ride along. They did the same thing at the school my kids go to. Shut down student led prayer over the PA system before football games. And I'm sure they really thought they had a big victory when the superintendent nixed the prayer. But what they didn't forsee is a stadium full of people on both sides saying the Lord's Prayer in unison. Pretty cool.

That’s the point though. If the people want to do it, more power to them. It just can’t be led and promoted by any government funded body. That is the definition of separation of church and state. The government can’t favor or push the agenda of one religion over another.

Nope. That is no where near what it means and I'm not going to get into here but the first words are "Congress shall make no law". How can they still have a prayer before a session in Congress, the very seat of our government, but not a football game?

^This.

Do we really want to live in a theocracy like the Middle East? The players and the fans have the freedom to exercise their religion because they're not employees of the University that's supposed to represent everybody equally. No problem with the fans and the players praying but anybody employed or contracted with the University should not be organizing or leading it.

You, like many, don't know why it was included or what the intent was. The meaning the words "of" and "from" are also intentional ignored.
