I'll ride along. They did the same thing at the school my kids go to. Shut down student led prayer over the PA system before football games. And I'm sure they really thought they had a big victory when the superintendent nixed the prayer. But what they didn't forsee is a stadium full of people on both sides saying the Lord's Prayer in unison. Pretty cool.

That’s the point though. If the people want to do it, more power to them. It just can’t be led and promoted by any government funded body. That is the definition of separation of church and state. The government can’t favor or push the agenda of one religion over another.
