All of this may be true. But is it right to eject a guy for that? Fitz was not at risk of being seriously injured by what White did. And that's what the rule is designed for. It's designed to protect the player from being seriously injured. So there is a clear fundamental problem when you can use the definition of the rule to eject and suspend a player for what White did. Something needs to change.

Probably. But for now, player safety and overreacting to fear of concussions rules the land. That's why the rule exists.
