actually explained my logic. I took care not to use big words or complicated concepts. If you couldn't follow it, that's really, really not my problem. I actually watch football. If a team is badly coached, a real football fan can tell. Unfortunately, you obviously can't make that distinction, so perhaps it's best if you go talk soccer or something.

Try this...

The coach before him averaged 2 X's the amount of wins per year. At the exact same school.

Spare.mw your "hes a good coach" BS

Yep, Franklin took one of the best WRs in SEC history, Jordan Matthews, and 2 other fringe NFL guys (Boyd and Krause) along with the 2nd best RB in Vanderbilt history, Zac Stacy, to historic success at Vanderbilt. Frnaklin is probably one of the top 10 coaches in the country, too. Meanwhile, you clearly don't understand how Franklin recruited. It was not bad...but it was very scattered. His recruits typically had very little cohesion and drive, many of them struggling even while Franklin was there but especially so with the new regime.

Mason is probably the 3rd or 4th best Vanderbilt coach since the 1920s. He's probably 5th all time behind McGugin, Franklin, DiNardo, and Steve Sloan. Maybe Art Guepe, Bobby Johnson, and one or two more have a case, but all but Franklin, DiNardo, and Johnson were before 1980.
