There is that. The common denominator seems to be that the hiring committee looks around at each other and says, "Okay, the guy's got an Irish name. All in favor?"

It's also a school that can't stand the fact that no one really cares about ND football anymore. Other than the sports writers who hype their program to the sky and their fan base who gives a damn? Heck, anytime they string 2 wins together the National Championship talk starts. NO one gets more credit for less than ND
