Let me go on record stating that I hope that no one hired in the future with connection to football department is "one of us". We have had extremely mediocre to not very good program on average for the last 50 yrs or so. So hiring coaches/players that are "one of us" will surely end with dumpy football.
*This is in no way a reaction to the last game. I fully expected Bama to cornhole us to the max. They were merciful the second half.

99% of the time. MSU learned this 30 years ago with Rocky Felker.
Fortunately we got an outsider AD who ended the nepotism. Now we just try to hang on to any successful coach
