Talk about throwing stones at glass houses. I don't know how old you are. But, I have been around since at least the mid-80's and grew up in the state. The rivalry was toxic as far back as the mid 80's by my memory. Billy Brewer lived and breathed to beat State. That's really all your fan base had back then.

Unequivocal BS. Every OM board has threads (plural)following the MSU game with just as much fervor. Football, baseball, and basketball.
It's not unique to MSU/OM. It's just the nature of message boards.
And the most positive attribute that Matt Luke has, to OM fans, is his avowed hatred of MSU. That's the whole "one of us" argument that fans make
