Dickheads like this clown notwithstanding, both QBs have huge upside. And both teams have stout defenses. Could get interesting.

It will come down to which QB plays better.
It could come down to which QB makes the big mistake.

I don't think Burrow can out-dual Stidham, but he won't be asked to. He's probably going to be on a short leash with his passes.

Stidham is the better QB, but he's going to be given more chances to lose the game due to that.

LSU looks good on defense and I mean really good. Best special teams for LSU in years. Great in turn over margin and protecting the ball. Burrow hasn't forced anything and has been good with audibles. Think LSU's best WRs are freshman and their roles are increasing. If LSU can pass protect with starter back should be their game. Need to se something out of Chaison's back ups. Thinking LSU continues to take the ball away and score on defense.

Aranda seems to have Gus' number. Auburn will need multiple turnovers to crack twenty. But who knows if LSU can score at all?

Burrow is worse than at least the previous 2 QBs they’ve had. This game will not be close. The scoreboard may indicate a “close” game, but LSU’s offense will never pose a threat.

No he isn’t.

That being said, if LSU loses the Rant will melt into a big gob of goo.

Statistically, he’s the 2nd worst QB in the SEC. Etling was much better than that.

No, Burrow is the better QB.

LSU is running a different offense than they did. Etling was throwing after Guice, Fournette, Williams established the run.
With Burrow, LSU is coming out in the shotgun and throwing, and Brossette is running from that as the defense drops out of the box.

Stats might not be good, but he's giving a passing threat (at least the attempt), while Etling was just complementary.

I understand Auburn fans not liking Thomas/Boss, but what did you disagree with?

My early thought is to avoid the TRant after the game no matter the outcome.

The game that got away last year? I’m still pissed about the td we threw that got called back because the ball wasn’t snapped in time.

LSU has an elite D and special teams. We cannot afford to turn the ball over even once. Our O is going to look very pedestrian and we will have to kick around 5 FG's to win.

It can happen, but we will need to play as close to perfect as we can. Not drops, negative plays, etc.

I’m hoping it doesn’t turn into a slug fest where half our team is banged up for the rest of the season. It’s has happened many times before and seems to be setting up that way again. Auburn needs some quick scores early to keep there pressure off.

Dude he’s played 2 games.
Use your statistics after the season ends.
We get it. You hate LSU.

When you've got the guy who, every weekend, starts the "Hey Auburn: frick you" thread.... well, I think it's safe to say he might hate Auburn a little more than LSU.
