He knew it was over when Trill put up 600 yards on him. He was basically just a empty shell the rest of the time.

Spurrier quit in the middle of the season. If he didn't want to coach anymore, he should have resigned before the season (or after the previous season). South Carolina actually lost to the Citadel after that. He let down his players.

Didn't Spurrier just one day say frick it. I'm out. And from the looks of it, doesn't regret it one bit. I'm ok with that. Cocky should be ok with it too.
