This reminded me of several Como natives who have expressed their apathy by saying, "Hell, it's not like the players are from Missouri." (or some variation of that)

So, curious, I looked at the number of players that a few SEC schools had from their home states. TN had 45, LSU had 65, and GA had a surprisingly high 91.

Ala was another surprise (the other way) with 39.

Mizzou has 31.

Don't know if this tells us anything other than Bama is Bama and the other schools have a higher % of local kids on their teams than we do.
