’ll be honest this secondary is pretty damn good, they are fast and hit hard

Saban seemed pissed off at them today, did they just tackle poorly?

He is always mad at the secondary that’s his baby.

It was kind of nasty and yeah some missed tackles.

Still think the qb is obviously going to be Tua?

The injury to Allen sucks, but still pumped about the potential of this team. Really excited about what this offense could be capable of doing this year. Your updates are appreciated.

Jesus Christ, these injuries.

We are going to have to beg Keith Holcombe to come back out and suit up.

Let me guess, it's Tua OR Jalen at QB?

Yep - Jalen is moving to linebacker.

Tua is moving to Linebacker. Actually he could probably play both sides of the ball. Isn’t inside LB the QB of the defense.

I think - too - that players’ leg strength may be too much for the ligaments.

I dunno...something is up.

If there are more ligament injuries than in the past, and I'm not sure that there definitely are, but if there are more, it's because of the advances in modern medicine, most notably in the arena of arthroscopic surgery/ligament reattachment techniques.

Not that long ago, a massive knee blow-out was career-ending. Now, that player can be back in 6-10 months. And this is the point: a certain percentage of football players are more susceptible to joint injuries because of genetics. There's the difference. In the past, most of these guys' careers would be over. But they come back, and tear them again. Those people with multiple tears are likely the reason for an increase in tears over time.

30 years ago, a blown-out knee meant a job at Dairy Queen. Not today.

That Arkansas State game is gonna be huge for establishing experienced Depth at LB.

Any word on how that convo went between Saban and Jalen's dad?

Bout tired of the OR narrative . Maybe he just doesn’t want to announce before the game . It is getting old though for sure

So other than the Allen injury is the consensus that things went well and we looked pretty good on both sides of the ball?

At least one report is that Jalen also threw an interception returned for a td

edit for those keeping score: In the 2 scrimmages, according to most reports, Tua has 6 tds and 0 interceptions. Jalen 1 td and 4 interceptions
someone's a turnover machine and sure isn't Tua

Well of course it’s changed one is trying to keep his job and throwing at everything. The exact same scenario as last year but reversed.
