We, most likely, know each other then.

We graduated the same year. But I moved a few years before that. Back to Batesville and then to Searcy.

Had at least one that played for the Hogs as a long snapper. Cat named Benji Mahan. Did the NWA football coaching thing and then coached the Bombers for a couple years.

Another one, Cody McNabb played at ATU I believe, and won a state championship as a coach at Morrilton. IIRC.

I suppose you played with those guys.

Yeah, I played with them. I broke my shoulder socket my sophomore season. I had to wear a special harness during games to keep my shoulder in place. School insurance finally made me have surgery after my junior season or I wouldn't be allowed to play my senior season. While O was rehabbing that shoulder I hurt my other shoulder and said to hell with it and didn't play my senior season.

Yep. Benji was the kid that Danny Ford offered when he took that RV and traveled the state. I was hoping he would be able to have some success there, but he just never could turn them around.

I was happy to see Cody win State at Morrilton. Cody is a great guy. If he's smart, and I know he is, he will never consider trying to coach the Bombers. Would be a career killer.

I moved on from Mtn Home and only go back a few times a year to visit my parents.

The only time I've ever seen the Bombers play tough football is when that coach from Louisiana coached them for a few seasons. Took them to State and then he left for a Springdale school.

I'm going to rack my brain trying to figure out who you are.
