Greenville is great. I lived there for several years before the downtown blossomed, and it was nice back then. My son was born there and my father worked at Furman, which is a beautiful campus.

South Carolina fans are perhaps the most loyal in college football. They sold out every home game during a winless season in the 80's. They deserve better, really.

But when you had Spurrier all of those years, and the best you could muster was one single SEC East title...don't think the rest of us are going to automatically fear the chickens just because you say we should.
