No you said and I quote that “Tua deferred to Jalen as the leader of the bunch” as in Jalen leads in this competition. Which is simply untrue and far from the truth.
Jalen and Saban did talk to and essentially shut up his parents but it was nothing more then telling them there is no problem and Jalen is still in competition. So maybe we’re on the same page here but if your implying in your original post that something has changed and Jalen is about to play a extended amount of time in game 1 then that’s is 100% wrong. You need to check what was going in game prep in these last 2 days and how it was run. Tua is being prepped to start. Jalen will play but he won’t be getting 40 or 30% of the reps. Tua will start and Jalen will go in occasionally for a play or 2.
I’m not trying to demean you and you need to know it’s ok to be wrong occasionally.

There are significant differences in the way you worded things the 2nd time around. The wording the first time was somewhat misleading.
It's now more clear that Tua merely deferred to Jalen to lead a discussion during a QB room meeting. It seems to me that's not a big deal at all, hardly even worth mentioning.
It seems reasonable that Jalen would ask his parents to stop talking on the internet and to the media about the QB battle and to tell his mom not to worry about what classless keyboard warriors say about him. I doubt he said "stfu" to his parents.
It seems reasonable that Tua and Jalen will both play to some extent vs Louisville.
Was the misleading wording and presentation of your initial post due to carelessness or was that intentional?

I was talking specifically about the meeting with the quarterbacks not the entire team.
In the other thread I talk about the reps I’ve actually seen with my own eyes and that lines up with what you and I have both said. However, both will play.
And a massive LOL on being wrong. I don’t put a ton of detail in my posts just convey the message. I’ll continue to do that. I appreciate the posts.

I agree with you. Also, the deference showed to jalen could be more from a cultural aspect than anything else.
My opinion is that Tua came to Alabama because he knew he can take the QB1 spot. The kid is respectful not submissive, big difference.

I didn't take it that way at all...
I took it to mean that Boz's source said Tua deferred to Jalen in the QB room only; with just QBs and coaches in that room, I could see him doing that in courtesy to Jalen's experience and seniority...it doesn't mean he's ceded leadership of the team or of the QB position. As for the other, I took STFU as an embellishment, not literally...if Hurts told either of his parents that, his father would've jacked him up...I just figured it meant Jalen asked/told his parents to keep their comments out of the media and they agreed...
Seems to me that what Boz meant to say and how you interpreted what he said were two different things...

I read Boz's post carefully and between the lines a little and understood it pretty well. So, I thought that none of it was really much of a big deal. But given that some posters here are worrying a lot that Tua won't be the #1 QB, I think Boz should've been a little more careful about his wording and presentation in that post -- it was too easily misinterpreted.

Detail is needed in something like that. This all could have been avoided if your 1st response would have been a clarification of what you said.

You are right. I ain't running Jalen down either, just stating facts. I can't help but be stressed out because I fear that Saban will try to make a two quarterback system work out of loyalty.

I do but mostly on the recruiting page. I haven’t been on in a while bc it’s the dead period so not much is going on.

Unrelated, but apparently yesterday Tua put a picture on Snapchat with him in a hot tub with three girls who had markers and wrote “Tualicious” and #13 on a window.
